CD 162 - Type II, Mold G7

Features: Reworking of CD 162 I, Mold G7 to widen wire groove. The lettering is strengthened, now stronger and more even with rounded edges. Irregularities in the letters are mostly corrected. Blot outs are not usually visible. On front, the right leg of the R is not quite connected to the rest of the letter. On reverse, the extra dot below A and the rounded area of glass to the right of A are no longer visible; MADE IN is often indistinct; S slants to teh right. This mold was reworked again into a Type III to further widen the wire groove, CD 162 III, Mold G7, and then retooled to strengthen the skirt, CD 162 III, Mold G7.1.
Mold Number Location: on reverse centered below NO, often faint.
