Advertisement by Lynchburg Glass Corporation for glassworkers in The Glassworker, a trade journal, January 19, 1924. "Gatherers" were persons who transferred molten glass from the mixing/batch tanks to the insulator molds. The "Pressing Jobs" mentioned in the ad were for persons who actually operated the insulator presses.
