CD 106 - Type II, Mold LA.1

Color: Clear with heavy Olive Amber Tint*
Base Type: RDP:x

*this color is sometimes called Dark Straw

Features: Retooling of CD 106 II, Mold LA; both front and reverse are machined beginning 18mm from the base and increasing towards the base. Most of LYNCHBURG is missing from the front with only traces of LYN and small bits of other letters visible. There is no L logo. On the reverse U.S.A. is totally absent and MADE IN shows increasing shallowness toward the base with the very bottom of some letters barely visible or missing.

Additional information: Lynchburg usually made molds in sets of 12. Twelve molds of Lynchburg CD 106 Type II have been confirmed. Of those, eleven are numbered (missing mold #11) along with this mold that does not have a number. It is possible that this is the missing CD 106 Lynchburg Type II mold #11, made without a mold number placed on the insulator. However, we do not have evidence to confirm this.

Mold Number Location: No mold number.
