CD 106 - Type II, Mold L8.1

Color: Clear with yellow tint
Base Type: RDP:r

General Features: Retooled CD 106 II, Mold L8 to strengthen skirt; the lower 10mm of the skirt is machined out increasing to the base rim, resulting in the loss of some lettering. Lettering is generally strong and even. On front, only the very bottom curve of G shows any loss. On reverse, the machining was done unevenly with more of the mold removed on the left side. This results in uneven removal of parts of U.S.A. Most of U.S.A. is removed, with only the very tips of U, the upper curve of S, and the upper half of A visible. Mold number is often very faint and is not visible on some pieces.

Mold Number Location: On reverse above period following NO.
