CD 106 - Type II, Mold G1.2

Color: Aqua and Green with Amber streaks
Base Type: CDP:n

Features: Second retooling of CD 106 II, Mold G1 and CD 106 II, Mold G1.1. The small engraved mold number on the front has been replaced by a larger die stamped number. Otherwise, the molds are identical. On the front, LYNCHBURG is placed high near wire groove and is very weak. Due to the pressure of pressing the glass to form the threads, in all but the first insulators made from this mold the lettering is very worn to the point of being indistinguishable. The L logo is nearly circular. On reverse there is a small circular blot-out beneath 1, which is often hard to distinguish on this later mold. Both the original periods before USA and the corrected periods after are visible. The S slants to the right.

Mold Number Location: On reverse beneath the vertical side of D; on many pieces it is difficult to distinguish; a second die stamped mold number on front to the right and below the L logo.
